A good resolution

At a New Year's party, James turns to Bettina and asks for a cigarette.

"I thought you made a New Year's resolution to quit smoking," Bettina says.

"I'm in the process of quitting," says James.  "Right now, I'm in the middle of phase one. Quit buying any."
